Established in 1990
Ag ProVision was founded to help agricultural partners reduce costs through collaborative purchasing and efficient distribution. The company operates as a service organization rather than a profit center, ensuring savings are passed directly to its owners.
The organization began by combining purchasing volumes across partners, allowing manufacturers to plan production more efficiently and offer better pricing. In 1993, Ag ProVision expanded operations by opening its first warehouse in Rose Hill, North Carolina and launching its own delivery system. That same year, the company added a liquid packaging facility for internal chemical products.
Growth continued with the purchase of a 185,000-square-foot distribution center in Kenansville, NC in 1996, which remains the company’s primary facility. Over time, Ag ProVision expanded its capabilities to include product packaging, research and regulatory support, and new product development.
Additional milestones include the launch of Titan Global in 2006 to support international operations, the opening of a second distribution center in Nevada, Missouri in 2007, and the creation of Quo Vademus in 2008 to address challenges in veterinary medication availability. In 2011, Ag ProVision opened a Materials Recovery Facility in Kenansville to manage recyclable materials and support sustainability efforts.
Today, Ag ProVision partners with more than 300 suppliers and manages over 1,800 products, delivering to more than 145 locations across 21 states. The company provides a wide range of products including animal health supplies, feed supplements, sanitation products, pest control products, and processing plant ingredients.
Ag ProVision is owned by Goldsboro Milling Company, Nash Johnson & Sons’ Farms, Prestage Farms, and Smithfield Hog Production.
